As you may know, there's a big election coming up. I'm not sure if you follow electoral-vote.com or not, but here's today's map:

Good news, right? Mostly. We here at Environmental Action will be pretty excited about an Obama victory this Novemeber. While there are some issues we disagree with the Senator on (clean coal, anyone?), we know that the potential for working with Obama on positive environmental change is significantly higher than it will be with McCain.

So why only mostly good news? Because with less than a month until election day Obama pulling out in front can be pretty dangerous. As the news reports an ever-growing Obama lead, people will begin to slack, thinking that victory is in the bag.

So, if you're involved in the election, keep going! If you're making calls, knocking on doors, keep on keeping on. And, if you're not helping yet, get to it!
