We've been working hard online and on the ground to make sure Detroit's water stays clean and stays public!

Today, I stood alongside the People's Water Board coalition in front the Mayor's office, to announce that over 113,000 people, including you demand a sustainable, just and affordable water plan for Detroit and the planet.

As I stood with other dedicated environmentalist and human rights activists today, I felt the power and strength of our movement to ensure that the most basic resource to all life stays clean and in the hands of the public, not corporations.

Next week, we'll be in front of international media outlets with our partners, hand delivering your message and over 113,000 others to the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department.

We'll tell the world that we believe that in order to protect our environment and public health, a sustainable and just water plan is needed. Every living creature deserves the right to access clean water. And, we won't give up on Detroit until our voices are heard and justice for the environment and public health is served.

We're winning this fight friend, and this is just the beginning! Your efforts are truly making a difference.
