A former Trump administration official has proposed scrapping the Antiquities Act and dramatically shrinking national monuments across the country — including the critically sensitive protected lands on the doorstep of the Grand Canyon.

The Antiquities Act is one of our best tools for protecting public lands from oil and gas drilling, mining, and development. Now is the time to shore up support to defend the Antiquities Act.

We must speak out now to protect our most beloved national monuments and nip this terrible idea in the bud before it gains any more traction.
