Manatees have a tough few months ahead, as temperatures drop and their food becomes scarce. There is no time to waste to help manatees get the protections they need to survive the winter.

With seagrass meadows being choked out by algae blooms, manatees no longer have abundant, nutrient-rich food to keep them fed and healthy all winter long. We don’t want manatees to have to choose between starving to death and venturing out into cold, dangerous waters to find food sources.
