Hunters in Wyoming have killed at least four gray wolves after luring them across Colorado state lines. While gray wolves in Colorado are protected under the Endangered Species Act, they can be hunted in most of neighboring Wyoming with virtually no restrictions.

This news is devastating — and a reminder of why we need to restore and defend Endangered Species Act protections for wolves across the Lower 48.
