Protect the Mississippi River from toxic PFAS
The Mississippi River runs for more than 2,300 miles through the heart of our country. It surges through woodlands and across floodplains, sheltering hundreds of species of wildlife and providing drinking water to more than 20 million people. This wild river is too precious to pollute with toxic PFAS “forever chemicals.”
PFAS pollution doesn’t break down in the environment, and it poses a threat to wildlife and human health alike. I strongly urge you to forbid 3M from polluting the Mississippi River with any type or quantity of PFAS.
