Tell Secretary Haaland: Protect the manatees

Dear Secretary Haaland,

Today, Florida’s manatees are dying in large numbers, mostly from preventable causes such as starvation, loss of habitat, and motorboat accidents. Since manatees were removed from the endangered species list in 2017, their situation has worsened.

These treasured animals are now facing an existential threat. I strongly urge you to restore protections for Florida’s manatees under the Endangered Species Act.
