Tell the EPA: Protect bees from toxic pesticides
We, the undersigned, urge the Environmental Protection Agency to ban the consumer sale of neonicotinoids. Neonicotinoids are a class of pesticides that are toxic to bees. Exposure has been found to poison bees’ nervous systems, causing neurological damage, paralysis and death.
The EPA can make a difference on this issue by limiting the widespread application of neonicotinoids. This decision will not just have a positive impact on bees, but also on our larger environment. Bees play a vital role as pollinators, and losing them would have a devastating ripple effect across all ecosystems.
