Tell the EPA: Protect our waterways from plastic pellets
Most plastic products are made from tiny plastic pellets called “nurdles” that cause big problems for wildlife and our environment. The plastic industry dumps or spills trillions of these pellets into our waterways each year, and they can take hundreds of years to degrade. Meanwhile, they’re polluting our rivers, threatening our health and posing a massive risk to aquatic wildlife.
Companies shouldn’t be allowed to pollute our waterways with microplastic. I urge you to prohibit the discharge of plastic pellets into our waters.
