Tell your U.S. House representative: Protect the Boundary Waters from mining.

The Boundary Waters is America’s most visited wilderness area, welcoming over 150,000 visitors each year. Sheltering thousands of streams, rivers and lakes as well as over 1 million acres of uncut forest, the Boundary Waters is a beloved area that deserves permanent protection.

That is why we are urging members of Congress to vote no on HR 978, which would open up over 225,000 acres of forest to damaging and wasteful copper sulfide mining. This highly toxic mining would pollute some of America’s purest waterways and most pristine forests. Tell Congress to vote no on HR 978.
