Take action to stop hunters from running down wolves with vehicles

The reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National Park has helped boost biodiversity and rebalance a degraded ecosystem.

Bureau of Land Management Director Tracy Stone-Manning and U.S. Forest Service Chief Randy Moore,

The wolves of the Northern Rockies are slowly recovering from the near-extinction of wolves in the lower 48 states — but a full recovery of these priceless animals will be impossible if indiscriminate wolf killing remains legal. Hunting tactics like chasing and running down wolves with snowmobiles and other vehicles are unsporting and cruel. I strongly urge you to outlaw the use of vehicles in wolf hunting on the lands your agency manages in Wyoming and Idaho.
