Tell Target: No more plastic bags

Dear Target CEO Brian Cornell,

We, the undersigned, urge you to support eliminating plastic bags at checkouts nationwide. Plastic bags are a leading source of plastic pollution. They clog landfills and travel by wind and water into the environment. There, plastic bags threaten marine wildlife, including seabirds, turtles, and more.

Target can make a difference on this issue. As one of the largest retailers in the nation, Target can significantly reduce the amount of plastic bags entering our environment by eliminating them from stores. This will also set a positive example for others in the industry to follow.
