BLM Eastern States Director Mitchell Leverette,

The Wayne National Forest is a beloved forest and a recreational paradise in the heart of Ohio. Fracking will permanently scar and pollute it.

I urge you to stop the BLM’s plans to allow gas extraction on 40,000 acres of this national forest. Fracking poses threats to wildlife that call this area home and will pollute the clean air and water that so many hikers, bikers and riders come here to enjoy.

Don’t let oil and gas operations take hold in Ohio’s only national forest.
