This legislation will erase all federal protections for gray wolves

To stop hunting from decimating wolf populations nationwide, we need to stop this bill in the Senate before it’s too late.

Gray wolves need the protection of the Endangered Species Act to keep them safe from hunting and trapping.

The House of Representatives just passed Rep. Lauren Boebert’s bill that will erase federal protections for gray wolves.

To stop hunting from decimating wolf populations nationwide, we need to stop this bill in the Senate before it’s too late.

We need to tell our U.S. senators to vote “no” on radically expanded wolf hunting.

This bill will erase vital wolf protection

Originally introduced by Lauren Boebert, HR 764 would be devastating for wolves if it becomes law.

The bill will block the Interior Department from restoring Endangered Species Act protections to the wolves of the Northern Rockies, who so desperately need it. Wolves in this region are being slaughtered by the thousands.

This legislation will also erase Endangered Species Act protections for wolves across the rest of the country.

If this bill becomes law, the whole country will be a lot more like Wyoming, Idaho and Montana — where there are shockingly few limits on where, when, or how you can kill a wolf.

We need to stop this bill here and now, because if it becomes law, it will prohibit courts from intervening to restore wolf protections.

Take action to save the wolves

We know we can stop this deadly bill if we take action together. It already passed the House once before, when it was slipped into another piece of must-pass funding legislation. We rallied wolf lovers like you to take action, and we stopped it in the Senate before it could do any damage to our nation’s fragile wolf populations.

We urgently need your support now to ensure we can stop it again.

Send a message to your U.S. senators to protect wolves from deadly nationwide hunts.
